The 8th Annual National Wounded Warrior Tennis Camp will take place May 5-11, 2019 at Balboa Tennis Club in San Diego (travel days May 5 and 11). It is for wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans of any age. Caregivers may be allowed to participate on a case-by-case basis.
Due to high demand, we are only able to allow participation in two camps. If you have already attended this camp twice, we will not be able to consider your application. We do, however, wish to support your continuing interest in tennis, so please contact us if you need help connecting to a tennis program near you.
The camp consists of 16 hours of tennis instruction and evening social events designed to improve participants' quality of life through tennis and camaraderie and follow-on referrals to tennis programs in participants' hometowns.
All major expenses will be covered (airfare, lodging (double occupancy), meals, tennis equipment, and social events). Participants are responsible for their airline baggage fees, personal incidentals, and a $50 nonrefundable deposit upon selection.

In addition, each applicant must provide a copy of the following:
1. Drivers license OR passport.
2. Proof of military service - one of the following:
- Active Duty Military ID card, OR
- Retired Military ID card, OR
- VA Healthcare System ID card, OR
- Page 1 of DD-214.
3. Medical Clearance Form signed by a primary care physician and any other therapists currently providing treatment. Click here to download the Medical Clearance Form.

Space is limited to a maximum of 60 participants. Once accepted, a nonrefundable $50 deposit is required.
